The city of Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal, it is about 200km from Kathmandu and it is for many, where trekking ends.
We have a day and a half so we use it as we can. On the first afternoon, we will take a walk around the lake and eat at one of the bars / restaurants on the lake promenade, planning what we will do next day: we decide that we will not take any boat or taxi, this means that we can visit fewer things but at the same time to walk in some neighborhoods that otherwise, we would not have stepped on.
We are in a hotel near the lake, but we started the track on the Lakeside Road. Visit the Buddhist World Peace Pagoda Temple, descend to the Gupteshwor Mahadev cave but we will not go in, visit and diner at the Davi's Falls and go to the International Mountain Museum.
It is worth the trip on foot and walk through the neighborhoods of Pokhara.
