Itinerary description
The plan is to spend another night in Namshe. We needed to climb high in order to acclimatise better.
We started our hike at 9 a.m., passing by the Namshe Bazaar, through the town.
The way was all up on steep stairs till we passed Namshe. We were walking very slowly and trying to enjoy the view to the max. The scenery over the place is very beautiful.
Then we reached the top hill of the Sagarmatha National Park, where they put a statue of Tenzing Norkay Sherpa. He is the first one to climb the Everest Summit.
From there, we went back down a bit and started uphill towards the top where you have an Art Museum.
On our way, we passed by the Everest Museum.
After 3.5 km and around 900 m of altitude gained, we reached the Everest View Hotel. We were supposed to have our first look at Mount Everest but it was too cloudy. We were surrounded by high peaks, beautiful valleys and forests of Pine and Cedars trees
We stayed and had lunch there and enjoyed the place then we came back to Namshe Town.
