Itinerary description
We started at Mombacho Lodge (great place to stay, has food, beverages and some parking). The first section is along the access road to the lodge and then onto and up the main road towards the summit. Some good views of the country side and a mixture of cultivated land (mostly coffee) and forest. A band of howler monkeys provided some entertainment. Make sure you don't get directly beneath them! The paths/tracks are decent footing but there is no signage. Because of the many twists and turns and additional tracks I would recommend a map download.
