Si alguna vegada teniu ocasió de visitar l'illa grega de Naxos, us sorprendrà per les variades i interessants possibilitats de trekking que hi trobareu (a banda d'algunes de les millors platges del Mar Egeu).
Aquesta és una d'elles, que permet visitar alguns poblets caracterítics de l'interior i precioses esglésies bizantines antiquíssimes (pre-romànqiues), tot recorrent el típic paisatge mediterrani de la zona (camps d'oliveres, figueres, cítrics, etc.), molt més verd del que us podríeu esperar.
Un grup de noies gregues ens van avisar que anéssim amb compte amb les serps (una de les espècies locals és verinosa), però la veritat és que només vam veure llangardaixos, alguns d'ells força grans. Altament recomanable.

If you ever have the chance to visit the Greek island of Naxos, you’ll be surprised by the varied and interesting trekking possibilities that it offers (in addition to some of the best beaches of the Aegean Sea).
This is one of them, and it’ll allow you to visit some nice small villages of the zone and precious very ancient byzantine churches (pre-romanic period), while traveling the typical Mediterranean landscape of the zone (fields of olive trees, fig trees, citrics, etc.), much more green than you would expect.
A group of Greek girls warned us about the presence of snakes (one of the local species is poisonous), but we actually only saw some big lizards. Highly recommended.
