Itinerary description
The Olive trail is a short but beautiful hiking trail inside Nautkluft Zebra Mountain Park in Namibia. The trail is named after the trees nearby. It starts uphill 4km until you get the plateau, gaining nice views of Nautkluft valley at each step you take. From then on, it turns east inside an old river bank, where there is a 'chains pass' where you need to hang yourself from a chain attached to a vertical wall to advance. Despite that, the route is easy, it is about 11km long and takes 3-4 hours to be done.
