Itinerary description
Another of the many coal mines in the Extension Whisky Lake area, White Rapids coal
Mine is just below Nanaimo River Road east of the Pipeline road.
A large portion of this area has been logged in 2023 but the old coal slag piles are still visible . Air vent shaft to feed fresh air on north rock walls of river.
