This route to Tengboche does not follow the classic road.
It passes through Mong La.
Below in the picture you can see the difference.
Up to the "left for Mong La" point the route is common.
Then, we turn left and do not continue straight, to go to Mong La.
We do extra altitude, but it's worth it.
