Itinerary description
Short hiking trail from the small town of Magome to Tsumag at Gifu province, Honshu island, central Japan. This hiking is a small part of the ancient trail Nakasendo which connected small post-towns called "shukuba" where samurais and government workers used to rest on their way from Edo (actually Tokyo) to Kyoto. The hiking itself is really beautiful and easy, and it can be done in 3h (or less), stopping here and there and taking tons of pics.
