Itinerary description

It is a short route, although on the way we find a mountain pass. It is part of the route Nakasendo - Kiso Valley
The route is little frequented by walkers and for the most part it runs along roads.
Before arriving at the port, we will find some deviations (they are not in the track) that will allow us a panoramic view of the area. Even if you deviate, you end up connecting with the route in the Torii pass.
At the end of the route we find the beautiful (and tourist) post town of Narai.
In Narai there is a train station, which will allow us to follow our route (see Nakasendo 4) or go to our next tourist destination. If you finish early one option is to go to Matsumoto and see its impressive castle.
If you are going to continue walking, one option is to travel between Karuizawa and Yokogawa, for which you will have to take a train to Kuraizawa (see options in Japan Rail).
There is also possibility to link by train with Tokyo and Kyoto
