Itinerary description
This trail is one of 3 routes to Refugio Frey from the Villa Catedral area. Public transport is available from Bariloche to Villa Catedral. This is a relatively easy ascent involving non-technical terrain. There are great views towards Lake Gutiérrez. There is plenty of water along the route. This trail is quite popular with day hikers. Food is available for purchase at Refugio Frey.
