Nice track; mix of wider gravel roads, sand roads, canyoning and single tracks. The scenery is even beautiful when grey sky's are in early april. Different than the vast plains in the larger area.
No worries parking the car in the designated area (off road field) in the Arany János Utca of Nagybakónak. Near the cimetary there are also possibilities (gravel, paved), but further away.
The single track in the Köszikla Szurdok canyon is dangerous because of wet slippery clay on the small track, wooden ladders and loose sand and sandstone on the steep slopes. The ladders at the end are in doubtful state but 'cause of the steel construction there fine. Our dog and I used an alternative slope track, but wouldn't do it again. Next time I would navigate myself back to the existing field road around the canyon which you come across before you reach the actual canyon.
Near the antenna mast the asphalt road ends at the terrain fences which you can avoid by following a wild track in to the the near field. From there we chose to do the wider parallel track on the east.
The loop in the north was to long for us at that time, so no experience there. We halted at the Csibiti-tó pond and the covered sitting area before we turned back.
On the way back we lost track by following the wide gravel road wich lead us to the wine houses instead of leading us to Esperanto Forrás.
Thanks to the detailed map we found our way back to the parking ( google maps suggested an unofficial track between lots wich shortened our walk with about 10 minutes or so. )
I suggest a detailed map to make add ons or have alternatives to the track.
Give yourself more time to do the walk when you have children with you or when you lack single track experience.
