YOUTUBE VIDEO OF THIS AMAZING HIKE: https://youtu.be/WFTuG6hJgGQ
This was a fantastic hike down to the Coomera Gorge, what an exciting one it is. Not for the faint of heart as there are loads of segments where its easy to lose your footing, even more so if its wet! Be forewarned this is an extremely steep descent and a very difficult trail.
Couple of sections where you can lose the trail, so don't attempt this if you don't have a good head for Navigation!
The video I'll put up will be a Hiker's Guide to this route and best way down so stay tuned.

Hi Jelbuilder,
Wondering if you wouldn't mind taking this hike off the public Wikiloc access, and not posting a Hiker's Guide video? The Senior Ranger at Lamington NP has closed it down, again, and marked it as such. Here is some of his message below:
"The Mystery Track at Binna Burra which was officially closed in the eighties is the latest hotspot being promoted on social media and through walking groups such as Meet Up. A section of the old route was impacted by landslide several years ago and a new route to avoid this area has developed in very steep area and the resultant erosion is negatively impacting the key values of this world heritage listed park. A number of unauthorised ropes have been installed to assist people climb up and down the steep sections in places which is against QPWS policies and poses a potential safety risk for users and QPWS."
Other Wikiloc users have also been notified so that we assist the Rangers in their already heavy workload.
Cheers
D
