Itinerary description
Picturesque linear trail going along the mountain river which gets dry during warm season. There is a pitch kiln on the way. You may wonder around the village at the end of the trail.
TERRAIN: mostly narrow forest rocky path, a bit of wide forest road and the last bit leading to Mylikouri village is concrete. Descent to the end and ascent back to the start. The beginning of the trail and the last part on the way back is quite steep. Overall poles would be good to have.
SEASON: about 60-65% of the trail is in the shade of trees. However during winter/spring season the river is back to life and there are a few wet crossings, keep this in mind and get the poles with you.
SIGNS: good signposting, plant plates along the way, plenty of benches and one small picnic site.
KIDS: good for kids from 6-7 yo with adult supervision at some parts.
Parking is available at the start for about 8-10 cars.

Great route. Quite a difficult descent and ascent at the beginning, since I was with two children.
