Itinerary description
A short beginning of season walk starting with a gentle descent from Cortijo Grande Car Park to our lowest point of 66 metres in the Rio Aguas Rambla. Leaving the Rambla we ascend steeply on an old track to a house on the hill. From here we walk to the far point of the airfield before walking the length of the runway to the abandoned airfield hangers where we have lunch. After lunch we make our way along the tarmac road away from the airfield to the reservoir above Cortijo Grande. From here we return to our start point after a short descent to the path that we started out on. A short ascent brings us back to our cars.
