Itinerary description
Muttrah-Riyam trail in old Muscat town. Fantastic trek with beautiful town views. It was an easy one for us, but I rated it as moderate due to uneven terrain, slippery rocks, boulders and wadi with water.
Note that rocks are very slipery at some parts, also there is wadi walk. At tge time of the hike there was watter at somw partf of the wadi, so we had to find our way jumoing the bolders around. You can also walk through the water, if you dont mind gettting your feet wet. Water in the wadi was shallow.
Half of the trail goes through the town.
