In 1964 Michel Peissel got permission to visit the kingdom of the Mustang and could stay in Lhasa.
We leave the hostel, as always, on a bright day. We will have finished this trip through the Mustang without a drop of rain that has dropped us either.
That same year in 1964, Michel Peissel had come to Bhutan the same days when the Dalai Lama fled from Lhasa along the Tibetan border to escape from the Chinese military authorities. A few days later, Peissel was brought to the palace of Potala, in the capital of Tibet, for his Tibetan guide.
We continue the street in the north direction and we turn to the east. Some women have left the carpet and sewing machine on this wall.
