Itinerary description
A cool hike. The bay side of the sand spit has fine restaurants and a clean beach. The Atlantic Ocean side of the spit was covered in plastic and ill-suited for swimming.
It was very hot, about 34C, so hiking in sand was hard work, hence the "difficult" rating.
