Itinerary description
Went on this trek early winters when there was only a little snow.
I did a traverse, going up via Lalazar trek and came down the usual one.
It was enormous fun.
You can get a local hiace from Faizabad to reach Donga Gali in Rs.400 only.
From there you can start the trek, to reach the "Ayubia National Park" entry point.
Or you can go to the entry point on hired suzuki in Rs. 50 per person and start hike from there.
Mukeshpuri is a 2,800-metre-high (9,200 ft) mountain in the Nathia Gali Hills, in the Abbottabad District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northern Pakistan. It is 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Islamabad, just above Dunga Gali in the Nathia Gali area of Ayubia National Park. It is the second highest peak in the Galyat Region after Miranjani which is located at 2,992 metres (9,816 ft).[1] Much of the mountain is covered with Western Himalayan subalpine conifer forests.
