Point of changing direction
Usually most people not heading for the boat further north @ Forsfjorden, will return the same way they came all the way up. This is an alternative: Turn right towards the fjord (direction Reine), and a steep and not very much used path will bring you down in another way. At the end you have a great circle route instead of "one way"

Looking back
Well, if you thought the steepnes of the path (from the saddle to the left, down to the water) has been challenging: Enjouy this view. The next part along the fjord isn't that much fun... But for sure an adventure
