Itinerary description
Summit Attack! From Camp 5 to THE PINNACLES! It's a difficult trail, in technical terms. Don't let the 5km in distance, fooled you. Also, don't be lulled into dreamland by the guides thinking that the first km is an easy, jungle walk. They like to tell you that, without revealing how hard it is. Right after 10 minutes of easy walk on a flat trail, then BOOM! Ascent all the way, to the summit. Some as steep as 90 degrees in angle. I would categorize the toughness as 10 times tougher than Pulai Hill, or 5 times tougher than Datuk Hill. And that's, going up. Coming down, get ready to be fully exhausted, mind and body. Tougher to come down, especially when it's wet. And, it's wet all year round, due to full canopy cover.
