Itinerary description
This is the last of the 3 routes that the Mullerthal trail consist of.
Each of these three routes is circular and of around 37 Km in length. People usually take two days to walk each of them.
This website has information about the whole Mullerthal trail: route 3
The whole trail is pretty well marked with the red "M" marks all along the way.
This third route is a very easy and enjoyable track that starts at the information center in the little village of Mullerhtal and also ends in the same place.
Since it is circular you could start and end it in any other spot along the way.
You walk inside forests, green fields and also across some small villages.
As of April 6th 2019, there are three spots where the track is closed and are detours available. This track doesn't follow the detours but follows the original track that is closed. I found these closed areas quite short (around 200 meters each) and I couldn't find anything difficult or dangerous to justify that area to be closed. It's mainly a tree that has fallen or a river to cross. Alternatively you can take the detour.
I have marked in the track with waypoints two of the three detours.
