Itinerary description
A fairly long walk that doesn’t take you through very defined trails. However, the sceneries are absolutely superb, and very diverse! Make sure you have good waterproof shoes and plenty of water. I would not recommend doing this trail after a heavy rainfall. You must have a phone or a map in order to follow the trail. Make sure that you download the trail too before getting there. Finally, allow plenty of time as a it is a lot of ups and downs. Around lough Ouler, you could decide to go a few meters more to go to the top of Tonelagee and you can also take the trail to your right when going down, which will take you a slightly longer way.
