Itinerary description
The hike starts at the parking at Brimnes. We follow the river Brimnesá on the right hand side (keep to the south of the river). Today we had so much good snow to walk on that we could go more or less straight to Gvendarskál and from there to the north upon the peak. From Múlakolla there is a great view over Eyjafjörður, to the island Grímsey in the north and over the spectacular mountains as long to the west as to Fljót in Skagafjörður.
