Muir Woods, is a national monument of the United States, that takes the name of the naturist John Muir. It is located on Mount Tamalpais, very close to the Pacific Coast, and is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, 19 km north of San Francisco.

It is an old-growth coastal rainforest. It is full of large redwoods and tall trees. In its large area we will walk on paths in the first paved sections and then unpaved, with not much difference in level, except for some specific sections, and in areas of very dense forest and of great beauty.
