Itinerary description
Walk through a variety of landscapes - rainforest, dry forest and highland heath.
Start at the large Mt Wilson sign at the base of the hill. Walk up the beautifully overgrown old main road (which lies between the new road and the electricity pylons). Where the old road meets the new road, crossover and walk downhill 200m on the new road. At the hairpin bend reenter the forest. The start of the trail has a National Park sign, but the remainder is overgrown and difficult to follow. Basically you want walk through the broken gate, ascend to the ridgeline, cross the old fence and get onto the firetrail. Then follow the firetrails in a circuit.

Cross the Road
At the gate cross the road. About 200m in there's a track that runs parallel to the road, that will take you back to the start point.
