Itinerary description
T-Road Trail slices though the plate of spaghetti that is the Mt. Tzouhalem trail system, leading to one of the most spectacular views in the Cowichan Valley. This Wikiloc follows T-Road almost exclusively to the lookout.
The lookout point at the summit of this hike looks down on the estuary of the Cowichan and Koksilah rivers and across to the communities of Duncan and Maple Bay. Beyond there are fine views of local mountains (Prevost, Cobble Hill, Sicker etc.) and mountains far up the Cowichan Valley.
The Retreads Hiking Club gives this hike an American Volksports Association rating of 3C.
