Itinerary description
Thur walk directly over Mt Tlaloc from Rio Frio. Plenty of great camping spots along the way with occasional access to water (Feb 2022) on the Rio Frio side.
The final section was steep with some scrambling near the top. Not recommended if you're carrying heavy bags as we were but otherwise fun with some great views.
