Itinerary description
This has to be one of the best alpine climbs in New Zealand. A high level of fitness and sure-footedness is required. As always, check the weather and be prepared for anything - this mountain is a big killer. In terms of fatalities, this is the second most deadliest mountain in New Zealand. Expect extensive scree slopes as well as climbing on all fours.
