Itinerary description

Jan, 2022

Wildlife Count:
- 1 emu
- Several kangaroos
- So many skinks
- Zero snakes but passing hikers mentioned seeing a brown snake by the trail where the creeks are running - marked by a waypoint

Going from Bellfield the trail is pretty nondescript and gently undulates, dipping through dry creek beds (dry in summer). There was quite a bit of tree debris, fallen trees and branches, across the trail for the first couple of kilometres. Otherwise it is pretty well graded and great for running. The incline up to the Mt Rosea peak is steep and over boulders. Amazing views on the plateau near the top.
