Itinerary description
A decently marked trail from the safe and easy parking area of the Monastery to the highest point of Mt. Parnon (Kronion), aka Megali Tourla (1934 m.).
It is a long hike with considerable altitude difference and a very strenuous push, right after the unique spectacular plateau of Profitis Ilias. The latter is worth the hike on its own, especially on a warm pleasant day of spring. From there, it is another 30-40 mins to the top, which could be skipped unregretfully by the less patient members of the group.
*This trail's GPS trace, its description and technical difficulty are solely based on my personal equipment, skills, estimates and temporary conditions and are therefore potentially inaccurate or inapplicable to the general public. Use at your own risk and caution.
