Itinerary description
Great views from the top of Narugamiyama. Some nice viewpoints along the way.
99% of the trail is shaded by lush green canopy so ideal for a sunny day.
You can take a bus almost to the start of the trailhead but you'll have to walk a few km on foot to reach the stone torii that marks the start of the climb.
The trail includes steep sections and is particularly steep and slippery on the way down from Azumayama down to Azuma park, which features some roped sections. Proceed with caution especially if it has rained.
