Itinerary description
A great hike that goes to the top of Mt. Morrison located directly above Red Rocks Amphitheater. The hike is very steep throughout without any switchbacks, you will gain about 2,000 feet of elevation in just under 2 miles. You'll have to scramble over a few rocks towards the top, but it's noting that an everyday hiker would be incapable of. Up top, it offers 360 views of Denver, and the Rockies to the west. Beautiful views up top. I'd highly recommend some hiking poles to help with some of the steep inclines.
