Itinerary description
Hadn't done this for many years so thought it was time to do again.
Overall, nice hike. You can make a loop, like I did, and go up to Mt Mexico (nothing to see) and pass by Big Rock Cave - pretty cool! Continue to Whitin Brook trail to Cabin trail (you'll see this is a triangle 'loop'.
Note that there are a few stream crossings and this track shows a short bushwhack because we couldn't cross the first stream where it should have been crossed due to high water and not enough rocks. With care, you shouldn't have any problems but certainly don't do in early spring (snow melt) or right after a big rain unless you want to wade the stream crossings :-(
