Getting up to the caves is a scramble and will be challenging for some. The secret caves provide the most spectacular outlook views in SEQ. Traversing around to the Western Ridgeline is all offtrack but is stunning and great fun. I didn't say it's easy though. Don't turn off left too early or you'll just hit bluff walls....keep going until the Western ascent becomes evident.
Once you finally reach the Western Ridgeline ascent, this is the spectacular part. I loved it! We traversed up all the peaks, including the main summit, then back down the main tourist route to form our counterclockwise circuit.
