Itinerary description
This is a super-easy rock hopping hike to the highest point in Vermont.
There are three ways to do this hike, which is part of the VT Longtrail:
1) Hike the whole way from the valley floor to the peak.
2) (Summer) drive up the forest service road to the trailhead.
3) Take the chairlift to the top and walk from there
We did #2 'cuz the chair lift was down for maintenance and we had a baby with us and therefore could not commit a whole day to hike the whole thing.
The car option is quite nice. There's an audio cd you can listen to during the ascent with some interesting natural history about the area. Once at the top, you can take as much time as you want to make the out n' back.
I do not seem to have saved any of the pictures I took unfortunately.

J'ai fais l'ascension depuis le bas : long, pas de vue avant l'arete finale et assez monotone
Comptez 3h minima en aller-retour pour 800m de dénivelé
Perso, habitué des randos, je ne referais pas
