Itinerary description
This hike is an easier hike than the typical routes up Mount Huntley and follows fire trail for most of the way. The final ascent is via a narrow track which at times is hard to follow in the final 500 m up to the top of the mountain.
This hike would be difficult to do in wet weather. A four-wheel drive would be most efficient in crossing the creeks to get to the start area.
The hike has great views either north across Spicers, Double top, Mitchell and South to Mount Asplenium and Panorama Point.
