Easy to follow
Scenery
Very difficult
We followed this trail to the top of Mt. Horeb, but started at Guinea Fowl Lodge in the Clarens Golf and Leisure estate. We returned on our same route back to GFL.
I have recorded it. search for "GFL to top of Mt. Horeb, Clarens"
We mainly needed this route guidence from the Smiley Face up to the top.
The hike to Smiley Face was moderate, but from there to the top was very difficult and we would have battled without this guidence.
The climb from Smiley Face was very steep and slippery with some quite tencnical places to climb.
Half out group, mostly ladies, decided not to continue with the rockface climb to the top of the saddle.
