Itinerary description
Nice loop hike with an active fire tower on the summit.
Did a short bushwhack to Bennetts Knob; open woods but not much of a view from there. The maps at the parking area kiosk were a little confusing on the return back. We had expected to pick up a trail at the fire road but there were none to be found. Did an easy 'bushwhack' back to the parking area to avoid a road walk. Overall, a good hike with more trails to explore.
