Itinerary description

Loop hike around the base of Mt Godi with a climb to the summit from the west. Moderate difficulty. Begin at road/trail junction 1 km north of Passo Godi. Easy to follow trail Y2/Y7 to a junction with a older, less used trail numbered '23.' This trail climbs steadily toward the summit and becomes difficult to follow. Summit is marked with a cairn. Continue toward the east passing ruined animal corral to a final ridge running north-south and overlooking Passo Godi. Follow ridge to the south and pick up trail marked '24.' This trail is well marked and descends steeply to the top of the ski slope above Passo Godi. Descent moderates as you return to the road through the pass.
