Itinerary description

*Read the signs before doing this trail, a conservation officer visited me after doing this trail telling me vehicles are not allowed up the last 4.15km where the real rough trail starts off the logging road because of the wildlife*

I started this Path at the intersection of Aveling Coalmine Road and Telkwa Coalmine Road.
From the start you'll drive 5km until you get to a Creek, I was able to easily cross it on my quad and there is plenty of rooms for anything 4x4 to cross too.
From the other side of the Creek, you'll drive 9km on a rough starting, wide road that turns almost into a very smooth highway until you see a sign marking the E branch.
The E branch is a little bit grown in here and there with leafy small Alder Branches.
You'll travel 2.5km down this E Branch until you get to a corner that goes up and to the right, but here is where you'll get off to a hidden pretty grown in trail.
This trail/old road is 4.15Km to the Mt. Forster Falls.
The trail varies alot from completely grown in with the Alder branches, muddy pools, small creeks on corners to cross to wide open bumpy road closer to the top.
A quad can do this trail pretty easy for a person with atleast intermidiate skills, a SxS might be able to do it bringing along a chainsaw.
A group of 7 people hiked and arrived at the falls just as I was leaving.
Once you have conquered all the rough terrain and climbed to the Basin of this Mountain you are rewarded with breathtaking scenery..
The Falls, the mountain, the Alpine Trees, the Colours and Smells, it's quite overwhelming.
As a bonus, I had 2 bars of Cell Service up at the Falls and beyond as well.
I found so many Rocks covered in Fools Gold and maybe real Gold.
If you hike this make sure to wear footwear you don't mind getting muddy and can hamdle the sharp and loose rocks and bring BUG SPRAY!!

You can search in Google Maps Mt. Forster to see the seven 360 photos I took all over this Mountain.
