Itinerary description

A short hike up Mt. Esther that meets with the Ring the Peak Trail. A pleasant meadow awaits you at the top, and there's a great stop-off to view the valley. Note that footing can be an issue on portions of the trail. Several stretches move straight up the mountain without any switchbacks. That, combined with a pea gravel base, makes it easy to slide on the way down.
