Itinerary description

The following day we continued with the trail. There was three waterfalls to pass before reaching home base back at Broadwater Campgrounds. This trail shows us following the ravine, navigating around 1 waterfall and ending as we attempted to navigate around the second. Along the way there is beautiful rock hopping and a plethora of choice when it comes to campsites (with no facilities of course) - all make you feel like you're immersed in the wilderness of Sundown national park.

This trail becomes very difficult in the rain - a morning shower soaked the rocks and made our journey about 3X slower. As this trail is all about following a ravine, I must offer a strong caution about how slippery these rocks get when they're wet.

Due to the steep loose rock and my bad footing while descending the second waterfall, I severely broke and dislocated my ankle. The scrambled GPS data you see is the GPS gaining and losing signal for a good while (you don't think of pausing Wikiloc when you've just broken your leg!).

Following this ravine was easy and pleasant until you had to navigate the waterfalls. Please make sure that when you do this track you watch your footing on the loose rock.
