Itinerary description
Short 3 hour solo hike from Garden of Eden Rd to East Peak of Mt Cougal. Track remains fairly clear but has had some damage from fallen trees. Beware snakes given high grass and low vegetation in some areas. Has exposure to the sun for the first half then comes under rainforest for the rest. Steep and Rocky climb expected at the end.

Great little track and few people walk it
- Not an official NP walk so little information on www.nprsr.qld.gov.au
- Easy to follow along border fence. Mostly track, some vehicle trails and scrambling up to Mt Cougal East peak (easy using vines and roots)
- Scenery limited on East peak. Views to Mt Cougal along the track. Varied vegetation as you ascend the ridge
