Itinerary description
Started the hike about 1.5 hours before sunrise. Definitely recommend starting before dawn as the sunrise views are worth the effort. The track from the crest carpark to the summit of Mt Cordeaux is well defined and apart from a few steep switchbacks there are no overly difficult sections. The rainforest between the lookouts are picturesque with majority of trees and rocks covered in bright green moss. Another advantage of starting before daylight is seeing the rainforest heading back to the carpark in daylight for the first time, makes the trip back down much more enjoyable.
Came across several wallabies on the way up that didn’t seem to bothered by me walking past plus there is a high activity of native birdlife for those interested.

Looks epic! Will havta add it to my hiking trail to do list
Well worth it. Not overly hard but the views and scenery are wonderful. Sure you could do it justice. My photography skills are pretty crappy.
