Starting at JC Slaughter Falls Carpark, I went to the Bush Chapel, then to Slaughter falls following East Ithaca Creek line.
I then ascended an uphill section to "The Pinnacle" and then down and over a few more hills until I hit West Ithaca Creek. This lead me up a beautiful rocky gorge all the way to Simpson Falls.
All waterfalls dry at this time which made it great for creek rock hopping exploration. There's a really cool bridge and observatory deck here. I then ascended until I hit Sir Samuel Griffith Road.
This lead me around all the four major TV Channel stations until I came to The Summit Lookout - loads of people everywhere.
I then followed "The Summit Track" back down to Slaughter Falls Carpark.
A great walk - first time for me to explore the waterfalls of Mt Cootha and the inner working trails of Brisbane's most popular Tourist mountain destination.
