Itinerary description

Start at the base of Mount Blackwood in Lohs lane, there is ample parking here. The Ah Kow hike also starts here. Take the track along the side of the horse yard and through the gated area, the trail is well marked and is part of the Great Dividing trail.
You walk the entire trip along the fire trail along the ridge of the Lerderderg Gorge , this has recently been graded from about the half way mark.
Steep in places but overall an easy to moderate walk
