Itinerary description
The standard first timers route up Mt Barney. The ascent of Southeast is quick with numerous vantage points to view Mt Lindesay and Ernest. The descent from east peak to Rum Jungle can prove difficult in that you may find it difficult to find the track.
From Rum Jungle you follow the south ridge track down to the fire trail that leads back to yellow pinch.
