Itinerary description
Lower Portals car park to Barney Falls, up past Moonlight Slabs over the saddle and down a dry creek to Rocky Creek and back to the Lower Portals car park

I have a question re the dry creek section. I assume it’s Isolated Creek. I attempted the ridge to the left of where you came down and got stopped out just short of Eagles Ridge so we backtracked and dropped into that creek which was pretty easy going (compared to Rocky Crk). How was the upper section of the creek to the ridge, is it clear like the lower, what is the scramble like, any “death defying” sections. Appreciate your comments.
