Itinerary description
This track used Bear Canyon (starts near the USFS Ranger Station) and ascends 6,000' to Mt Baldy. I took the Ski Hut trail down (about 4K') and hitchhiked back to my vehicle at the USFS Ranger Station as it's a long walk otherwise. Spotting a vehicle or bicycle at Manker Flats and riding back down would be an option also.
