Itinerary description
Mrtvice Canyon - up and back with 2 side tracks (very short ones to Kapija želja - the gate of wishes and to the washed out bridge, both well worth doing)
A delightful trail, easy walking and a variety of interest. If you drive up from Podgirica you are in for an added bonus. That road is incredibly scenic - one of the most impressive drives we have ever done and we have done a few spectacular ones.
The Wikiloc trail we followed crossed the stream and returned via the road. Cannot do that now because the bridge has been washed out (see pic taken in August 2023) so we did an up and back on the same trail.
Many of the online trails start near the highway which will add a few km to your walk. You can drive in to where we started (road is very narrow) and park there and save yourself some walking.
